Hi, to QuatumF

I was just adding more info. I wasn't referring to any poster

how do I know? because I've followed the tournament since 9-10 years, and the advance in since 2009 edition has been big in the info and coverage.

Is it perfect, full real time, accurate and ideal? No. But is fairly better than before and I have seen the work and effort to bring more services. Also, apart from the website is the Ranka coverage with the in-site notes.

We are still far from coverage like in chess, where you can see really in real time all the games in a tournament. Thats a pending issue in technology for Go.

Let's hope we get that one day

There was a last minute change and the India participant changed,. now we have 2 women in the tournament

The environment is great, there's good friendship and all players are playing with passion! We are really enjoying!

Korea wins 8 wins, China second 7 wins. The Japanese player only ended on 5 wins, but as he had the highest SOS of the 5 win players, came 8th. Surprisingly, Artem was 3rd, as we expected Ilya to come 3rd, as he had played higher seeded players. But it turns out that Artem's opponents did better and he snuck ahead on SOS.

Some minor drama in the final round in the game between Bill Lin and Ilya, which was won by 0.5 by Ilya. Bill was certain that he had counted it that he was ahead by 0,5, and that he had lost a prisoner during the counting process, but it seems he was eventually convinced by the officials. Presumably they replayed the game to ensure that nothing untoward happened.

Merlijn Kuin (6d) for the Netherlands.

Dear Herman,

would you know were to get Merlijn games' SGF?

Esp. of 34th WAGC – Choi vs Kuin,
because of Redmond's commentary on the game itself and the Carpenter's Square in general.

Or is there a way to get the SGF from this site:
http://ranka.intergofed.org/?page_id=9622
and/or eidogo itself?

Many thanks in advance,
Thomas

On the page there should be a "Download SGF" link in the bottom right corner of the eidogo player.
