Cork always run a great tournament, I can heartily recommend this event. Just remember to order a Murphys, and not a Guinness, if you go to the bar afterwards.

I recommend any visitors from abroad pick up a bottle of Connemara Peated Malt whilst they are over. Nicest non-premium whiskey I've had in a nice while.Javaness2 wrote:Cork always run a great tournament, I can heartily recommend this event. Interesting! It's turning into a beer/whiskey conversation
Well, the weekend is as much about that as it is about Go!

I can’t even see a sponsorship note on the picture.

Re: CORK GO TOURNAMENT 2013
Meh, if my father can sponsor local golf tournaments I can sponsor local go ones. There's no sponsorship note as (like last year) when asked we said there was no need. Other than a thank you during the prize giving this wouldn't have come up except for quantumf asking.Bonobo wrote: Whoa, respect, that’s true enthusiasm

It's a kind of rural Irish business thing to sponsor local events, something our comedians have a lot of fun with.
