Two Chinese middle game problem books.

Don't know what book to read next? Have a killer reading list for improving joseki knowledge? This is this place.

Two Chinese middle game problem books.

Post by tekesta »

Lately I have been increasing the number of puzzle books in my collection of Go books. I would like to know more about the following books and whether they are worth buying for an SDK player.

围棋培训系列教材:中盘战术

李昌镐21世纪围棋专题讲座:中盘战术

Much obliged in advance for your comments.

They are not bad for SDK. But if you don't know how to read Chinese, you might not get as much out of them as you would need to figure out for yourself the significance behind the moves in the sequences shown in the explanations.

Although I cannot speak or read much in Mandarin Chinese, since I understand Chinese characters (thanks to my years of Japanese study), I should be able to decipher some of the explanation text with the help of a dictionary.
