My First KGS Game

Post by FlyingCrane »

Hello

Well this is my first game on kgs, I clearly made terrible mistakes, even as a beginner missing atari etc
I do believe I lost if you count he just had to go.

Here are some comments. Overall I think you did fine. You didn't make many more mistakes than your opponent. Congratulations on the win, even if it wasn't supposed to be one.

Most of my comments are about move 11, at B16. Try to understand the theory here, and make sure you follow the branches to the ends, even if they start looking repetitive.

@Joaz -

Your comments are fine, but the OP is white in this game. Not black.

Black had to leave at the end so white won. Also, white is FlyingSage.

Yes I was white

Thanks for the comments on spacing and approching, as you mentioned I should learn not to simply react I did feel that my opponent controlled the game and I simply responded and perhaps not did enough to reduce territory.
