The way that this game between Chang Hao and Choi Cheolhan goes from the position below to the final result is astonishing. If you want to study the game to look at how you can use aji and forcing moves and sacrifices to reduce and invade and build for yourself, you'd probably need to be a high dan to fully understand everything. For us kyus, we can try to understand and maybe get something, but it's also so entertaining to just watch the magic happen...
When I got to this point in the game all I could think was - white to play and somehow deal with this... Having to live in gote and still somehow find a way to reduce an ungodly black framework? Impossible! I could never do it.
But Choi Cheolhan does.
I can see why people say he is the next Lee Sedol. His play from this point on is equally as skillful, which is saying a lot when you are playing against a veteran 9 dan like Chang Hao...
