Santa Barbara go club

On my way home from the AGA Pro tournament, we stopped for the night in Santa Barbara (didn't actually leave LA until late afternoon). Saw the news story on the AGA website, and realized they meet just down the street from the hotel we're staying in.

Thanks for dropping by! Actually tonight was a bit crazy…

Interesting events tonight at Coffee Bean:

• Former insei Jeff Xia returned to play with our members.
• Two nice gentlemen, Daniel and Tyler, came all the way from Lompoc (~1 hour drive) to visit our club for the first time.
• Another gentleman, with no connection to our club, is moving to Europe soon and hates to see his Go set wasted, so he dropped by to donate it to somebody...
• ...Daniel and Tyler are about to start a Go club for children, so they could use another Go set!
• xed_over stopped by on his way back from L.A. to Seattle!
• A mother and his son (who had recently just won a sculpture competition with his 3D-printed sculpture!) stopped by Coffee Bean while waiting for their laundry, got curious about us, came over our table, and I was very happy to introduce Go to them.
