Why wasn't the adjustment done so that drop in ratings got corrected? Just askin...
I do not know. Maybe there is a problem with another anchor? Maybe one of you should send some specific examples via email to the admins.

Who was that anchor (nickname)?
I do not know, since managing anchors is a super-admin function. Even if I did know, I would not be allowed to say.

Of course, then I played a few games and quickly dropped back to 10k But there was definitely some sort of odd drift there, maybe that was anchoring? Our just the players I beat getting better?
The rank system keeps track of a degree of certainty about your rank. You had a new account with few ranked games in October, so the degree of certainty might have been low. When you did not play in November, your rank may have drifted up due to an issue in the rank system: When the degree of certainty is low, often because one stops playing ranked games, a bug causes the rank to drift toward 2 dan.

I am "rs220675" at KGS and I stopped (completely) playing on 11/30/2013. Would just be "cool" if I caused all the tempral rank mess .
