Lee Sedol - Gu Li Jubango, first game

Post by Knotwilg »

There are three places where this game is discussed:
1. American Go Journal: http://www.usgo.org/news/2014/01/report ... available/
2. Go Game Guru: http://gogameguru.com/lee-sedol-gets-fl ... l-jubango/
3. Sensei's Library: http://senseis.xmp.net/?LeeSedolGuLiJubangoGame1

An Younggil will soon publish a full commentary at GGG, so we can probably defer any analysis until then. I started a page on Sensei's to analyze this pro game in terms of elementary moves and basic technique. I leave the real discussion to the pros.

You mean places where the game is discussed in English. I'm sure the game is discussed in other languages as well especially in Chinese and Korean.

Just for anyone who is not already aware the match has it own forum at the top of this page (I didn't see it until it was pointed out by someone).

I missed that too. Okay, I looked at the discussion page of game 1. There are some attempts at discussing a few moves and then it's all about whether Japanese terms are justified in a China-Korea match and whether they deserve to be in this 10 game match to start with.

Poor L19!
