I have known about Go for a while, from playing on chess sites. But since last week, I have been trying to learn it. And so far, It looks like an incredible game.

I'm glad I found this site, and I know I will have, a lot of fun learning Go.

Howdy, Ponderer. Joaz (one of the folks at the top) has been collecting a list of posts that may help beginners. You can find that here: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=667&hilit=beginners

However, the most common advice to beginners is: if you want to get better at go, just play go. Go play a bunch of games, then come tell us how they went and what you've learned. When you have questions, we're here to help.
