I started playing go in octobre 2013, follwing presentation about the relationship between project lead and the game of go...

I'm from 1973, so sad I "missed" go that long ;) anyway better now than never.
I from switzerland (french speaking).

Thanks for the forum ! a lot for me to be discovered, I'm so excited...

You are not alone as regards age. There are a few others who started past their 30s. I for one started in the age of 38.

Yesterday was my
First day at the GO club

I really liked that experience !

Sadly, the day they meet is not perfect for my agenda. but at least I may be able to go in the club 2 hours per week, that's allready nice.

I played 3 games. a quick 9x9, 2 handicap stones, played white and won, then I loose two 19x19 games as black,
one with 5 stones handicap, where I was "not that bad"
and one with 9 stones handicap, which I loose by a lot (nearly 50 points), that was however a nice experience has my opponent let
me place the 9 handicap stones where I wanted and he explained me lot of stuff during the game.
I have no "kifu" of these games, I will try do that next time.
