Hello all. I'm a relatively new player. My account has been on KGS since September of 2009 but I haven't really played many meaningful games until this month.
It looks like my rank is settling between 10k and 9k. I'll probably need help analyzing my games. There are many things that I still don't understand and many moves that seem perplexing and complicating.
I also hope that I can contribute something to the forums. Not sure how much I can though.

Welcome, and howdy. Your name sounds familiar from a go-context, so I'm sure I've seen you around.
You've come to the right place as far as learning. And if you're interested, you can certainly contribute. Joaz is collecting useful lessons for beginners, and that's the sort of thing that people like you can help with. Sometimes, people like us remember better what helped us learn the basics than some of the experts, if only because we learned them more recently.
Anyhow, welcome.

Someday I want to be strong enough to earn KGS[-].

Thanks for the warm welcome!
One advantage of having a username that starts with "A" is that it's always at the top of the KGS lists. Hope to see other forum members there.
Are there any particular rooms that you folks hang-out over at KGS?

East Bay of the San Francisco Bay Area. I paid a visit to the Berkeley Go Club a few weeks ago. Just happened to be in the neighborhood and saw a sign in the hallway of this building.
