Map #1.
In my experience, Americans don't know nearly enough about geography to come up with that. Yesterday they were saying on TV that a large percentage things Ukraine is in America. For example, to label Scandinavia "Socialist Union" they would have to first know that it is Scandinavia, what countries are there, what their political systems were, and what the quirks of the said political system are to be able to label them thusly. All of it a huge stretch. As are all the other labels on this map.

Map of Pangea is interesting. But I bet Sarah Palin would still be unable to see Russia from her back yard.

Map #15.
Surprising. I would think US was either better or worse than it is portrayed, depending on who draws that map and gathers the data. To be just "satisfactory" is lukewarm. Pretty "blah" for the "land of the free."

Map #18.
Was surprised with Singapore. I thought it was at least as dense as New York, possibly more so.

Inaccurate. Look at Washington, it says Starbucks. I bet Microsoft is a much more popular brand, especially world-wide.

Map #24. Very interesting. I like the way this data is presented. Makes one think.
Map #28. Now, that is neat!

So, US economy, like its army, is larger than a bunch of other countries combined. So why the heck do we have so much unemployment and there is so much resistance to a simple idea of universal healthcare? Something does on add up.

Map #36.
Highly doubtful. I don't think England has ever invaded Poland, for example. Makes me suspect the rest of the data. Very sensationalist, I think.

I highly doubt that one as well, especially after having a lot of experience with people all over the world. But since I don't really want to offend nobody, I just top commenting on this map here. (But for Pete's sake, color some greens orange, at least!)

Nice info to have. Personal experiences contradict that somehow, in that I found slavic people, especially Russians, to be extremely welcoming each time I traveled there. Although this was some 20 years ago or even more, so maybe things changed. I also found italians very welcoming, for some reasons.

Map #47 & #48. Interesting when you combine the data. What does it mean?
