I don't remember seeing Rin Kaiho playing ever for Taiwan (I vaguely remember he not being able to play an international tournament with Japan, though, but my memory of that is hazy.) Is it the first time?

This is my note of this tournament compiled from various sources

Kuksu Mountains Cup

A team tournament between China and Korea and also an international pair-Go event.

For the team event, China and Korea each sent 5 players competing for 3 rounds (round 3 optional if the winning team is decided after round 2). The overall winning team takes home 100 million KRW; the losing team 40 million. The tournament was held at home town of Cho Hoonhyun (YoungAm), Kim In (KangJin), and Lee Sedol (Shinan).

Both China and Korea sent some but not all their top players. Figures next to names are the players' official July ranks.
