According to the Nihon Kiin homepage, Kono Rin beat Li Qincheng (B+1.5). Tomorrow (Sunday) Yuki Satoshi and Park Junghwan will play in the morning and then Iyama Yuta and Lee Sedol will play in the afternoon.

Lee Sedol and Park Junghwan won their games. Tomorrow (Monday) Park Junghwan and Kono Rin play to decide who will face Lee Sedol in the final on Tuesday.

Kono Rin won by resignation. So the final will be Lee Sedol - Kono Rin.

Wow, Japanese pros are getting surprisingly good at fast Go. I'd expect Iyama to be able to defend his title, but perhaps we all know Lee Sedol's power :blackeye: and it was a good game for both.

The Nihon Kiin homepage reports that Lee Sedol won the final by resignation in an interestingly titled article - 河野の初優勝ならず (Kono's first [international] title does not happen). :)
