Weird picture on the cover of this book

Hi,

First let me tell you that I really, really, like the content of that book from Fan Hui.
Very nice book well suited for my DDK level...

But... why placing the stones like that on the cover...

Haha, just seeing that and imagining it were my book makes me want to lay some expletives out to the publisher.

Then imagining the possible feelings of Fan Hui makes my emotions go the opposite direction.

BTW, that looks like a regression, the first 4 books of the serie have all the same image which is "correct"...

So maybe the graphist just though that the stones where too close from each others...
