Fan Tingyu wins first domestic title by defeating Shi Yue

Fan Tingyu, the youngest 9 dan in China wins his first domestic title by defeating Shi Yue in Quzhou Cup today. The winner's prize is 500,000 yuan(about 8,5000 USD).

Born in 1996, the "Young Stone Buddha" Fan ascended to 9 dan by winning the 7th Ing Cup last year. He is known for a cautious style of play and a calm personality resembling Korean saga Lee Chang-ho. Fan is now ranking No.11 in the latest official ranking while his opponent Shi Yue, the "Dragon Slayer" is the current No.1 holder famous for a hyper aggressive style of play. As a result, this game was considered as a contest between shield and lance. Though Fan was in a small trough this year, today he defeated a formidable opponent with a decisive blow in mid-game and declears a successful rebound.

That does indeed seem a lot so I tried to find them but only got 2 or 3. Is there some other shape you classify as a peep which I don't?

3. mv 113 is a peep of p14 r14 jump but its main purpose is defending the q12 cut and white answers that bigger threat by living with the right side group so black gets to push through in exchange

That peeps the jump to the left and he answered. I didn't call that a peep of the jump above as if black pushes white can block and nothing happens, it was only after 137 took a liberty that he threatened to push, or rather pull out l16, and then white did answer albeit with m14 push before connecting. But yeah I guess you could call it a peep above, but white not playing two moves in a row in answer to a double peep can hardly be called tenuki .

Does Shi's play at 91/93 suggest that he didn't see this coming? He loses sente making the cut, and then 20 moves later Fan captures the stones on the other side of the cut.

Move 72 suggests that Fan read it out 20 moves earlier.

Here's my own rudimentary analysis. The peep of 91 was perhaps a mistake, and being too hopeful that white would obediently connect. Black's group above is not alive and the peep is trying to bodge it up, but perhaps a move like h11 would be more honte, "raising a flag" to make some eyespace, though the shape of h11 with e9 is unsatisfying. White's 92 is not dodging fighting or calm though, it is full of fighting spirit and resistance, of course based on careful reading. Fan eyes the weakness of the black group above and pokes around at that in sente and then comes back to k4 etc to settle the l6 group.
