Just stumbled on this news today (for those that can read chinese, source here) :
Da Lian team won over Beijing team yesterday and achieves a new record in chinese A league, that is winning the league 4 rounds before the end of the regular season.
Da Lian team this year was effectively impressive, they managed to enroll Korean Park Jung Hwan, Mi Yuting, Tang Weixing and Ke Jie !
Notice that Park Jung Hwan and Ke Jie didn't play for Da Lian during this round because of their heavy calendar, and youngster substitute Zhao Chenyu (born 1999) gave Da Lian team an important victory by beating Chen Yaoye !

It's not hard to see how they won with four rounds to spare sporting that line-up!clemi wrote:Just stumbled on this news today (for those that can read chinese, source here) :

I think I don't get the mathematics right. According to http://igokisen.web.fc2.com/cn/al.html, the 4 remaining rounds could theoretically change the winner. Even if you count the latest 3-1 for Da Lian and losses for the closest competitors.
We'll see, surely Da Lian can maintain it's lead.
Cheers,

Are you aware of the special rule for 'captain win'? That is - each team appoints a captain before each round. Two captains play each other. When the overall result is 2-2, the team with the winning captain secures 2 points and the other team only 1 point. Information given on that website does not reflect such situation.Vesa wrote:I think I don't get the mathematics right.
