Drawn game on 2 stones

Post by tekesta »

Just now I played against COSUMI (yes!) as Black and took 2 stones. I drew for the first time ever. (yay  )

My understanding of Go has increased a little since I last played against this program, but it looks like I made too many slack moves this time around. Also, I need to play more games. (For some reason I fear losing and this keeps me from playing all the time.)

Much obliged in advance for your comments.

Go to move 236, Black's last chance to win.

The endgame is fighting strength. :)

Thanks for pointing that out, Bill  I did look at the top left corner group in the last minutes of the game, but I did not think I could damage it significantly. Black at c17 would be easily trapped by White at c16 and cutting at d17 is not possible. I'll need to work some more on my endgame.

This is another way to play the corner out.
