Anders Kierulf’s wonderful application “SmartGo Books”, meanwhile renamed to “Go Books”, formerly only available for iOS , now is also available for OS X (beginning with 10.9 Mavericks).
The page also says that an Android version is in development.
The really nice thing: After registering your email address in both apps, all purchases done on one platform are immediately available on the other.
Even though I know this is the way it should be, I am very happy now to be able to read my purchased books on my Mac.

Robert Jasiek, I’d love to see your books offered also in Go Books — it would be wonderful to have your diagrams in playable form; I believe your books are worth using this way of distribution so that the largest possible number of readers can be reached, for the benefit of the Go community worldwide (and for yours, hopefully: I hope you will get rich for your fine books, because I want you to write more!). I for one would purchase some (if not all) of your books again on Go Books here even though I still prefer a Real Life book.
