But not Opera. :(
Still officially AGA 5d but I play so irregularly these days that I am probably only 3d or 4d over the board (but hopefully still 5d in terms of knowledge, theory and the ability to contribute).

Opera should have a setting where it lies about itself to get websites to stop being difficult. It has been very long since I last used Opera though so I don't recall where that is.

I just downloaded Opera* and it worked right away. If you are using an older version of Opera, here is the fix suggested by google:

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1B1F ... edit?pli=1

*I stopped using Opera when it looked like Facebook was set to swallow it. But since it didn't happen I guess I might give it another look....

I just did all that and it still gave the error. And I am running 12.17 as that link recommends. I had no idea that the latest Opera was the same as Chrome. Did Google buy opera? If so I will stop using it, or at least never update.

No, what happened was that Opera decided to use code from the open source Chromium project. Chromium started from Google Chrome code minus the Google specific stuff. You don't need to worry about Google tracking you etc with it.

Free Go Coaching??? Sign me up! (its ok, I already did). I've been playing for a little over a year now and I'm at the point that I could use an actual person to regularly view my games and make suggestions (books only do so much).

I am not ready to commit to this, much as I like the idea. It is just a matter of how much time I have. But if anyone in the 5-15k range wants to look me up on DGS I will be willing to play up to three people at once and try to help them. Just tell me you saw this message, because I normally refuse game invitations from random people.

Do you happen to play on OGS? Simply because that's where I already play.

No. I created an account once but did not like to interface so never went back.

Adding my name to it :)

I've signed up as a protege. I'm not feeling up to mentoring; I am starting to suspect that everything I know about Go is wrong.

I'm not sure if that suspicion ever goes away.

This is a nice idea. I'd gladly teach... too bad I know almost nothing.

What if we created a room in KGS where L19-ers of different strength could play each-other in a friendly non-ranked manner, without handicap and a short review after (if needed)?

Hi findol,

I entered myself as your mentee. Assuming you'll accept me, please PM me to fix up schedule.

I look forward to learning from you!
