I realize this is probably a very basic question, but it seems like a lot of information (and software) I've found is out of date. What I want to do is (in decreasing order of priority):
1) Take an sgf file and turn it into a nice diagram image, with numbered moves etc.
2) Take an sgf file and make it into a gif.
I have windows 8 and android. I've tried SmartGo, but when I try to make a diagram it gives me a completely unhelpful error message. There doesn't seem to be any obvious way to do this with the KGS client.
I guess the larger question here is, if you have Windows 8 and an Android phone, what are the best apps to use for managing/annotating/converting/etc game files?
Thanks!

Drago will also do this. It has lots of options.

Drago lets you export any position as a GIF, PNG or JPEG. It does not export as an animated GIF showing the game unfolding.
