Rin Kaiho reaches 1400 career wins
As reported on the Nihon Ki'in website, Rin Kaiho scored his 1400th win as a professional last Thursday. He beat Takemiya by half a point in the Gosei Sen preliminary tournament. The 73-year-old Rin is the second Japanese pro to reach the 1400-win mark after Cho Chikun. Cho currently stands at 1463 career victories.
