Well, it’s NOT the new OGS devs who would be to blame for this, right? (IF one wants to “blame” at all, that is.)
It’s not as if it had been an “unfriendly takeover” — apparently the old team just couldn't handle it anymore, and instead of discussing about this openly in the community they decided to hand OGS over to the nova.gs team.
I much rather prefer a clean and fast interface (say, HackerNews, Reddit, dailygammon) than having lots of HTML5 swish that makes it incredibly slow to load (OGS, Facebook, Twitter.) We had a top-notch correspondence server with OGS, now we have a decent correspondence server with a lot of features that are not that really useful for correspondence.
I can understand this, but I also see that it’s difficult to satisfy the
whole community

This I find really sad … though I also see how, as the user base of OGS is growing, a single voice is easily overheard

Anyway, IMHO it’s a great loss if you stop giving feedback there. But this is just my personal opinion.
