I played 11 games in September and won 9 of them.
I lost this game, so October is off to a less good start.
I was winning until the endgame and then I lost. I'm disgusted with myself and threw my headphones down in disgust. Sheer stupidity.
Actually, the losing sequence wasn't the only stupid sequence I played in the game. I'm... disgusted.
Here comes the game. It's entertaining.
Comments welcome.
I''m so cross with myself! Grrrrrraaaaaahhh!

Well, move 246 was just a blackout, rather a matter of concentration than lack of knowledge. While these blunders tend to get minimized with increasing experience, almost no one is completely safe of them (I can speak for me, at least
).
An interesting situation is
where you allowed black breaking your shape with
. IMHO there is a good alternative for
which - last but not least thanks to that white wall above - allows keep much better shape; could you find it?

Hi Jujube,
Maybe B missed the exchange of
M4 -
M5.
Maybe Q3 more natural.
seems strange. B could cut and split you.
B16 hane is natural.
E17 vital point.
B gets the vital point.
seems wrong direction (small). C17 is big.
D17 is very big.
B gets it.
A16 block.
With this jump, you left side and your wall are greatly reduced.
Not Go.
Solid, but feels a bit slow. (Example: C12 )
Seems heavy; B can consider other options.
Locally, broken shape for W -- you can play like this if you have read it out that this works for W.
This is quite bad.
See Toothpaste.
If you learn nothing else from this game,
at least start to get a sense why
is terrible.
Study Toothpaste, again and again.
Not Go.
In post 1, you mentioned:
and
--
that's why you played them. Later, if and when you have a sickening feeling about
, you will have reached a better understanding of this shape.

Thanks for the reviews as always! They do help.
Even if you feel as though you're repeating yourselves, I'm trying not to play moves like these.
They sometimes just slip out, like an uncouth ejaculation at a dinner party.

Hi Jujube,
You're welcome.
Many of us are all trying to do the same.
It takes time. Different people need different durations.
I'm very slow myself; it took years for me.
Maybe you meant an early disappearance from a party.
You're welcome.
It's perfectly OK.Jujube wrote:Even if you feel as though you're repeating yourselves,
