Go Server Ranking Survey

Hello all,

OGS has put together the following survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/goserversurvey2015. We'd appreciate you taking a moment to fill it out. Our goals are (1) to help us at OGS improve our existing ranks and ratings and (2) to provide information for the benefit of the go community. In light of the latter goal, we'll release the survey results as a summary and raw answers.

Readers here might want to know that a summary of results is automatically presented to the respondent after filling out the questionnaire.

BTW, I hope you analyze the answers a bit more careful than the summary page with the results suggests: questions (and answers) about perceived de- or inflated can (should?) be substantiated by looking at the answers on an individual/person/user level, for those using multiple servers. (Do they differ? If yes, how? And: could there be a logical explanation for that - blitz account or whatever?)

Yep we'll be analyzing the results rather differently than the summary page - that's just an auto-generated by survey monkey. And as mentioned, we'll also be providing the raw data from the results for anyone else who wants to analyze it as well

I was leaving of playing in others servers, I can only play corresponde games lately. I think that my rank is outdated in KGS and IGS.
Should I not do the survey?

Even if you only play actively on one server, please take the survey and enter your rank on that server. The information is still useful (for seeing how the players on that server are distributed by rank, for example). But if you don't have an established rank anywhere, there's not much point to taking the survey.
