Is the tournament Swiss or a McMahon?

When I was there is was a McMahon: the countries that were in the top 50% in the previous year were seeded as one point above the remainder.

So, almost a Swiss!

Nice to see Poppy in 3rd place, out SOSing USA. I didn't spot any UK representative; surprising.

I'd say it's nice to see both European and US representatives high in the table. See, we root for y'all too!

:) The news reports on this tournament from the wbaduk site are rather comical. The report could just as well have been written: Well darn! If this guy is going to enter so many times I suppose that he had to win sooner or later.

I was canvassed about going for the UK but Jim Clare, who was higher up the priority list, said he would. This was some months ago when the date was uncertain so I guess something went amiss in the organising.
