used the 3 space joseki in game. My opponent resisted and I wasn't sure what to do. I'm sure there are better answers then what I found in game.

Also I played a really good clamp which is something I never thought I'd be able to do when I was a 10kyu.

Then I proceeded to punt the game by dying in two spots. Haha. Oh L&D.

Alphago sure is cool.

Learning when to peep.
1. To cover a weakness before jumping out.
2. Right before pushing an opponent in a direction.

Also couldn't see it in game but after playing around after the game I see the aji at C15 and maybe I could find a way to hane at D11 insetad of E11 but it's hard to find useful moves against the corner after C17.

A weak group between two weak groups definitely doesn't seem weak.

learned S14 from joseki :D

:w16: is going to be questionable on general grounds: "urgent points before big points", and the urgent points on the top side are serious.

:w18: Don't think this is right. I would play F12 expecting E11, to keep Black separated, and then play C17 as the only quick way to settle a group.

:w30: It makes more sense to me to play P17, trying to settle the group. Invading the right side may come later.

:w34: It seems White should cut at R13 and sacrifice two stones. It would make R3 a better play.

From here, White expects too much from thin shape.

Thanks for looking at the game.

:w16: I wasn't sure what to do so I played away haha. I guess D12 is good since I've decided to attack with O16.

:w18: I was having trouble with C17. W C17 B D16 ? but after playing with variations G15 peep looks like it helps.
And if W C17 B B17 I think hane at B18 works.

:w30: cool P17 is the move I couldn't find. I just mimic'd O16 from games I've seen so I don't really know how to use it

:w34: I have trouble with seeing this too. But I agree it looks better. Especially if black let's me get P13/P14 But I'm a little confused after w R13 b P13
it looks harder for the L16 group but maybe I can destroy the corner enough?

You're right about me wanting a lot from thin shapes
but I didn't know what else to do.
I think your comments helped me see some good tools.
