Yeah, I don't get it.

There's nothing "live" about it. Its a webpage. You have to keep refreshing the page to see new questions or answers, and there's nothing to mark the ones you've already read, so you're constantly presented with threads you've already read, over and over again. Its kinda like a web forum with fewer features.

And its too difficult to figure out how to format your text, as it uses that crappy markup language.

And what's the deal with voting? Why? You're question is only valuable if everyone else thinks it is?

I didn't see very many responses from the "non-technical" members of the team. I suspect they didn't "get it" either.

There's nothing "live" about it. [.. yadda yadda yadda ..]
It was “live” in that those six people were “present” online for an hour or two, with one of them (Michael Redmond, I think) joining (and staying) one hour later (AFAIK). I didn't follow it since this was only “big” while I had “urgent” moves to play.
And its too difficult [..]

<edit>

I apologize for making fun of you, xed_over.

It was just that I perceived your comment as caustic, but feeling provoked doesn’t really count as an excuse. Then again I assume you wrote in just the same knee-jerk manner as I replied … and I guess/hope you can take such a response well … it’s all a give’n’take I guess ;-)

Peace, Tom

Thanks, it was very interesting. I wish their had been more content. I did read it after the event, and it was perfectly fine - the best questions and answers had filtered to the top. Not sure how well it worked during the event.
