i was wondering, if you're only counting one side, under Chinese rules you need 181 points. but what do you do about komi, is it 3.5?
or still 7.5? it would seem to me it still should be 7.5, so black would actually need 188.5 or white 181.5 including komi.
when chinese counting, half komi?

Re: when chinese counting, half komi?
If black wins by 7 on the board then the score is 184-177. So black is only 3.5 above half the board and Chinese komi would be 3.5. To avoid a jigo 3.75 can be used, which result in the normal half point win.
Still officially AGA 5d but I play so irregularly these days that I am probably only 3d or 4d over the board (but hopefully still 5d in terms of knowledge, theory and the ability to contribute).

Re: when chinese counting, half komi?
A Chinese half counting komi is half a full counting komi, so 7.5 in full counting becomes 3.75 in half counting.
