I saw this in a post which also explained it. Thing is, I cannot find it now. Something to do with the shape of the tops (not flat). But it was pretty clever, regardless.
Still officially AGA 5d but I play so irregularly these days that I am probably only 3d or 4d over the board (but hopefully still 5d in terms of knowledge, theory and the ability to contribute).

Thanks, vier; it'd be very nice if one day we just feed the original video into DeepMind-ish engines and they figure it all out and spit out the 3D printed replicas. Some day. :)
3D printing is the (now) trivial part;
the difficult part is for the engine to figure out the 3D shape --
seems everybody is working on it right now: Google, Apple, car companies, etc.
