Does the integrated viewer live update the sgf for games currently in progress? If so that would be a useful way to watch games on KGS. Or is it essentially a prettier UI around the KGS archives webpages?

Viewer for sgf files from archive, not online games. But copying online games to archive comes with a delay of just a few seconds, can try to make the viewer in near real time. But this viewer will be with a constant update of the activity. And KGS has a limit on the number of requests (by my count about 400 requests from the same ip for a short time), after which the ip address is blocked for 1 hour and u cannot watch archive.

Any u suggestions?

Maybe just have a manual refresh button (perhaps with some limiter to no more than once every 15 seconds or so to keep in kgs quota).
