I'm visiting los angeles in a couple of weeks time,
and would like suggestions for any book shops to visit
with a good selection of go book in english.

aren't both Yellow Mountian Imports and Yutopian based out of LA? Though I'm not sure they have an actual storefront.

I'm in LA a lot and I've seen nothing.
I asked Andy Okun, and he said "Closest thing is Kinokuniya in Little Tokyo. There may be 10-20 reasonable books there at any given time. Yutopian is in Santa Monica but they have no store front and don't want people to visit"
You are going to be in southern California during the summer. I recommend ordering your go books online and spending your time here at the beach.

Kinokunya in Seattle has a pretty good selection of Go books, both in English and Japanese.
