Are there any English language treatments of the 80s Japan China Super Go series? Ideally a blend of kifu commentary and cultural commentary, given the patriotic fervor on both sides.

I don't know if there is any book treatment of this tournament but by combining Go World issues and Ranka yearbooks, a pretty good overview of the series (as well as a large number of commented games) can be obtained.
