No idea, I don't even know whether she’d listen ;-) but maybe contact the developer, Gian-Carlo Pascutto?

Just press "Cancel" instead of "OK" and play a move inside the eyespace. Most of the time the bot resigns instantly when you play the nakade.

Hey guys, version 0.7 was appearently released a couple of days ago.

Changelog:
Leela 0.7.0 (2016-09-30)

- Larger DCNN and hence better move pruning.
- Fuseki library built from professional games included. Speeds up opening play.
- (GPU version) Faster dispatching to GPU, speeding up tree search.
- Better selection of critical variations during the tree search.
- Altogether about half a stone stronger than 0.6.2.
- Support for board sizes larger than 25 x 25 has been removed. This made many of the following enhancements much easier.
- Arrow keys can be used to move through a game in analysis mode.
- Engine stays in analysis mode when moving through a game.
- Show Territory reworked to use the calculation from the engine instead of a simplified one from the GUI. Display is now prettier and can show the likelihood graphically.
- Option to show the probabilities from the DCNN as a heatmap.
- Analysis Window providing in-depth display of the move evaluations. Lines can be clicked to show the Principle Variation graphically.
- Windows DPI Scaling can be enabled or disabled via the settings menu.
- Dialogs should now fit better when using nonstandard screen or font sizes.
- Engine runs at lower priority so Windows stays more responsive.
- Windows XP SP2 is now supported as the minimal Windows version.
- OpenCL support is now available for the Linux GTP engines.

Yup, see my comment from a few days ago, in this same thread ;-)

I was curious about Leela's new strength gain. It said only half a stone on the website, but what if you gave it more thinking time?
See the lightly commented game below between Crazystone and Leela 7.0, which I orchestrated out of curiosity. Modest hardware of 4 3.1GHz CPUs and a mid-range gaming GPU from Radeon.

Doesn't csdl have analysis mode that let it calculate the next best move(s) as long as you want?

When I try to run the GPU version I get an error as shown here. At this point the program stops responding and has to be closed by windows. Anyone else experience this?

I am running windows 7 and Leela correctly detects my GPU as an NVIDIA GTX 750 TI as shown below.

Edit: This seems to have been a driver issue. The NVIDIA updater ran afoul of my firewall settings some time ago without my noticing. Once I updated to the latest driver, Leela worked perfectly and kicked my butt. :)

I was wondering how you used Leela for reviewing games. I installed it on Linux and I can play against the engine through other interfaces. But I don't know how to set it in review mode. Do you need the Windows version for that?

For the GTP version you may have a look at:

The Windows version with a more friendly interface works smoothly under wine.
It may be used to review your game:

I missed your answer; thank you for your help. I'll give it a try when I have some time to spend.
Would there be any interest if I throw together some small C program to analyse games in a more user-friendly manner on Linux (input sgf, output sgf with comments?)

I think many people would be interested by such a program.

Meanwhile version 0.8 of Leela has been issued, featuring bugfixes and several enhancements:

Thanks for the notification!

I’m very happy to see that the author now also offers a pre-bottled version for OSX/macOS, using WineBottler.
