Ke Jie is ranked strongest versus human opponents, but how likely is it that another top pro might be stronger against computer AI? Mi Yuting comes to mind, for example.
Consider that the move that Lee Sedol played to defeat AlphaGo last year may not have worked against a top human pro; there was a stronger response it missed that other pros saw.
Just something I've been thinking about since the Sedol-AG games and from review of the Master games.
Ke Jie not the strongest?

Re: Ke Jie not the strongest?
We only have very little evidence on who's strong against AI. While Mi Yuting and Park Jungwhan won against DeepZen in tournament time setting, but DeepZen is not so stable. We may look at go server game record as two strong AI FineArt and DeepZen are there, but they play in faster time, plus AI constantly update make it hard to measure. The question of 'who' may be give different result for v18, or even more clear in v13. But it wouldn't make a difference in front of AlphaGo v25 or later.
Engadget wrote:Libratus, the poker-playing AI that crushed four world-class pros in January, has put another group of human players to shame. This time, the upgraded variant of the AI known as "Lengpudashi" or "cold poker master" took on World Series veteran Alan Du and a team of engineers, computer scientists and investors. Instead of using pure poker skills to try and defeat Lengpudashi like the first team did, the new players applied what they know about machine learning to their game. Alas, their strategy didn't work, and the AI still won by a landslide after playing 36,000 hands against the team at a resort on China's Hainan island.
