Alphago at Future of Go Summit - Setting/Broadcast Info

Post by C. Blue »

Please correct/add to these information accordingly - I'll add what everyone writes, so all the info is collected in this op:
---

===
-- These two seem to be the main streams most people here will want to watch --
So, actually there was/will be commentary on USGoWeb youtube channel too, from Myungwan Kim: https://www.youtube.com/user/USGOWeb
And the official Deepmind stream is commented by Michael Redmond again: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCP7jMX ... KCAE0MHQ-A
===

According to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Future_of_Go_Summit it's scheduled for 23th to 27th May, but there is said to be also something (maybe closing ceremony?) on 28th?

23th, 25th, 27th will be AlphaGo vs Ke Jie, each time.
The wikipedia entry above says that on 24th will be team of pros vs AlphaGo, 26th will be AlphaGo+pro vs AlphaGo+pro Rengo.
Conflicting info however was: 24th is AI conference, 26th will have both AlphaGo vs all and AlphaGo-Rengo match types.

AlphaGo vs Ke Jie time settings will be 3 hours + 5x 1 minute byo-yomi.

On 23th, time when the New China TV livestream ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kDTWCNLd55M ) of first AlphaGo vs Ke Jie match begins was shown in that video to be 1:30am UTC / 9:30pm EST (22th) / 6:30pm PST (22th). The video has apparently been removed though.
According to the korean Baduk-TV time table relayed by Kirby ( http://www.tvbaduk.com/info/schedule.asp ), it'll be 2:30am UTC / 10:30pm EST (22th) / 7:30pm PST (22th).

Taken from the other thread, the BIBA academy be planning to do some coverage: http://www.bibabaduk.net/index.php?p=pContent&mid=14

PandaNet will stream too it seems:

Thanks tchan001, two chinese live streams were also available:

All those Chinese news have nice detailed time table in photo file so I can't use Google Translate, but I remember that 24th is AI conference day and 26th will hold both pair go and 5 pro vs. AlphaGo match.

Possible that Chinese commentators start talking before the match. Or maybe BadukTV starts an hour in.

I had a hard time finding even this much information, so the details are still vague.
