GoGoD Summer 2010 edition on its way

The Summer 2010 edition of the GoGoD Database and Encyclopaedia is now out and should be posted to our subscribers on Monday. I will also be at the US Congress with copies, for anyone who wishes to buy. For further details, see the website link in my signature. The database now has more than 63,100 games.

Well, there are over 1000 games from 2010 already and 2427 from 2009. Going back in time, there are now 862 games with Go Seigen's name on them, and I have been lucky enough (?!) to get source material from Japan in the 60s and 70s, the Kansai in the 80s and Taiwan in the 80s, so there is a good geographical spread.

If you order before this Friday, I would post immediately. I leave for the US on Monday morning, so it would depend on me reading my emails and finding the Post Office in Denver next week.

I think the question was more one of "new version" as opposed to "old version", not one of "guaranteed of getting" as opposed to "perhaps getting later".

Once I announce the new version, I stop selling the older versions, except where I have excess stock that I sell for a greatly reduced price at a Congress. So, any order to me gets the most recent version. In fact, in the weeks leading up to the new version being issued, I give the choice to anybody who orders to get the current version immediately or the new version as soon as it is out. The website is entirely my fault; I have been rather busy at the Post Office. I turned up at the nearest PO with about 80 items to post only to find that they had been burgled the previous night and it was shut. It meant a bit of a trek to the next one. Oh, it is a hard life trying to keep all my customers happy.
