I'll be in Chicago this week (8/20-8/25). If anyone in the area wants to meet up in the evening to play go or something, send me a PM.
I might stop by at some of the go clubs in the area listed here: http://evanstongoclub.org/

Looking over your post, I decided to visit a local Go club for the first time. On the Internet I may be a weakling, but there I was quite competent. It was a lot of fun.

Very nice.
I ended up visiting the Evanston and Schaumburg clubs. I had a good time.

Good to know!
I've head it's possible to play there online for free. It sounds amazing, huh? There are a lot of guys who want to try their skills there. I'm one of them.
