Coworkers and I spent two hours in line to each get a $2 pair of sunglasses to watch the eclipse.

Great use of company time...

We're small enough that we gave out one pair per onsite employee, for free. My wife and kids showed up and we ended up getting another two pairs that I hadn't expected.

It worked out pretty well, as I had bought four pairs we didn't trust from Amazon (they were sufficiently dark, but I was scared of the UV protection).

Two coworkers had a pair of the glasses, so we swapped back and forth between a group of us.

95% coverage where I was. Definitely cool to see. But did make me regret not driving the few hours it would have taken to get to totality. Oh well.
