15 kyu vs 1 Dan review request
15 kyu vs 1 Dan review request
I'm somewhere in the 10-15 kyu zone, and have been playing a few games against a 1 Dan. One of the games I thought I had a good chance of winning as black until a bad misread resulted in a fatal move at 197. after my center group was cut off I resigned. If I had saved that group, I thought I would have been in the lead. If anyone can confirm that and/or give me any other comments on the game that would be much appreciated.

Hi Bg123,
Did you consider or read the cut ?
H8 ?
Maybe hane first ?
C18 first ?
Wrong shape. If tiger's mouth, G17.
If knight's move, H17.
(

) You see why
is wrong shape.
If
at G17, then you can resist with the hane at G15.
If
at H17, then after G16, you're almost settled.

) Suddenly, your shape is all over the place...
If knight's move, H17.
