Hello fellow enthusiasts,
I've lurked here for quite a while and even posted a few things, but thought I should introduce myself a bit. I learned the rules of go back in college (around 1990) from a really early computer program that only played 9x9. I hadn't really been active with the game until about six years ago when I discovered KGS. Since then, I've been playing online quite a bit. I play over the board when I can, though that's pretty rare since I live in Eastern Oregon and the nearest club is about two hours away in Walla Walla, WA.

Yes. I dropped in on the Portland group once when I was in the city, but it's over a 4-hour drive one way. My go addiction isn't quite that strong, yes.

Well your always welcome to play with the Walla Walla GO Club! Come up do some wine tasting, play GO and make a day of it! Of course drinking wine may not be conducive to playing GO well which may work to my advantage and I take whatever advantages I can. If your new to the club your first beer is on me! We do have a member of around 5k from Eastern Oregon, who lives about the same distance as you from WW and would enjoy some live games. He only makes it infrequently but tries to arrange things so when he comes up he comes on our GO night.
