I'll be visiting NC in October of 2018. While my wife is doing business in High Point, I'll be stuck in the hotel room. I'm looking for a go club that will be open several days per week, and is stable enough to still exist a year from now. Winston-Salem or Greensboro would be best.
Thanks.

Re: Where to play in North Carolina
I think the Winston Salem/Greensboro area has a few players, but has lacked a club for some time. Durham is a bit of a hike, but has good food, and the Triangle Go group is very stable. It's been meeting on Wednesday/Friday nights for at least a dozen years. I think odds are good that there will be dan level players on either night.

Yep, I live in the Triad, and I can confirm that the Winston Salem/Greensboro/High Point area doesn't have a stable club yet. The closest one is just as hyperpape says — about 1.5 hours east of Greensboro. I haven't made it out there yet.
Maybe one day we can gather enough players locally...
