I guess I should write up some kind of intro. My old scoutmaster introduced me to go many years ago. I didn't play more than a few times but never completely forgot about it.
A month and a half ago, I was wandering around in a toy store with family and I saw a Go set. My light bulb clicked on and I bought the game.
As you can probably tell, I'm probably too old to ever get really good at it (I'm afraid to even look at that age thread) but I think I have enough brain cells left to get better than I was yesterday and that's enough for me. My struggles make my occasional win all that much sweeter.
Thank you again to everyone for the replies to my other posts.

But you're never too old to enjoy the game (FWIW: I started with 38).

Re: beginner intro
I think you'd be surprised by the age thread. We have a very good spread here on these forums. And it's never too late to learn some thing new (and don't get too worked up about how "good" you get and how fast -- we're all here to have a great time
).
So, Welcome!
