I dealt with the spammer. Instead of making a thread, you can PM one of the admins or moderators, and they can take care of spammers.

As for posting a randomly selected admin or moderator: it may or may not work, depending on the chosen persons availability.

That's why I ended up posting about another spam user a while ago. This time I just reported the posts the spammer had made.

Edit - since I got crap about it last time, too.
