General discussions about gobans, etc., go here. If you're selling go equipment, it should go in the Trading Post.

Do you have a good picture or 3D rendering that can do the job for the next decade? Do you have the time and energy to design and create one? See the discussion:

The previous post may be a bit mysterious.
People are asking to come up with a new picture to post on Wikipedia.

Apart from Wikipedia, I would like to ask for more (professional) pictures.
A broad and diverse set of nice pictures, if free and publicly available, can help many go players if they want to promote go.
To make flyers, leaflets, posters, booklets, etc.

Anybody here that can make this a project?

Yes. I am a professional photographer, retired, and will gladly curate the images that are submitted. Might even shoot a few myself.

Set up the submission process and a server where the photos get stored. I’ll evaluate and move acceptable shots on to a public server of your choosing.

To execute properly, this is not a trivial project. Requirements would include password protected back office, publicly accessible download site, guidelines for taste, standardized image formats, boilerplate refusal letters, conventional model releases from all recognizable humans, and voluntary abandonment of all copyright by the shooter, just for starters. There’s more.
