It's this kind of thing that ruins my plans to save for a house deposit

Just last weekend I was moving a bookcase from one room to the next. While transferring the books, I came across a Go Winds magazine from 20 years ago they used to throw in when you ordered books from them, and it evoked a lot of fond memories.

If this is indeed the end of the Yutopian era, I wish Katherine and Sidney happiness in retirement.

Think of the sale this way: buy one hundred books, thirty of them are free! A great opportunity for your go club to stock the shelves of your local library!

The Boise Go Club bought many interesting go things from Sidney. I am sad to see Yutopian and Kiseido closing up their stores but Katherine and Sidney can take great pride and comfort in knowing they had a HUGE impact on go in the United States. There should be a prize or a tournament or a go scholarship named after them.

I, too, wish them both a happy, healthy, and lengthy retirement.

From what I gather from the comments in the FB group where I had shared SoDesuNe’s post, Kiseido is NOT going out of business, and their books will still be sold at https://kiseidopublishing.com, via Amazon, and on Smartgo’s Go Books.
