Starting from the next month KGS+ lectures and teaching games will be open for all users, but based on donations.

Great news! Is this for recordings too, or only for live lectures? Some years ago I let my KGS+ subscription lapse because there were almost no lectures at good times for Australians. (Saturday or Sunday morning in Europe would usually be good, but most things were in the afternoon/evening for Europeans.)

Yes, recordings will all be free too. Not sure we can make the whole backlog available, but will try to do the past year's worth when I get a chance. All new ones will be free to everyone.
