GoGameGuru archive?
Guys,
is there a decent archive of that site anywhere? I keep finding link to some of their old articles, but they're broken. IIRC, they sidestepped a bit from the public side of Go, but until some time ago there was still some information (and yet I already missed some things). There seems to be some Indonesian intro material, now, but nothing else.
Take care.

Re: GoGameGuru archive?
It's been a while since I tried, but is the web.archive of that site complete? I seem to recall some voids last time I tried, but maybe I just missed something. I've used web-archive so seldom over the years that I haven't gotten used to it, And it keeps archiving more and more completely.
Thank you. Take care

More than sidestepped - outright disappered, due to litigations. Even stopped answering calls from friendly voices.Ferran wrote:Guys,

Very sad story, overly enthusiastic and not experienced, they expanded into distribution of goods which comes with money, storage, shipment, stock ...
The site has sine been captured for non-go purposes.

Re: GoGameGuru archive?
Oh, wow. I never knew it'd been released.Knotwilg wrote:https://archive.org/details/relentless_201607/page/n11/mode/2up
EDIT: This post is the one I recalled about sidestepping. It's quirky because about the same time I read basically the same thing about a togishi store. Sorry to hear there was legalese involved.
Thanks. Take care.

Re: GoGameGuru archive?
No no, if only they had stuck to providing online content. It was the retail that suffocated them. I don't know exactly what went to court but at least the owners of "Het Paard" are upset about some stock for which they were never paid or an investment which was never returned. As said, very sad story, because David Ormerod is one of the nicest guys ever.Kirby wrote:Litigations? Anything go content creators should watch out for?

I see. Yes, it's a pity. The site was an excellent go resource in English.

Re: GoGameGuru archive?
Okay. Sorry to bother again, but I can't seem to find it. Does anyone know if there's a LaTeX file of the 'Relentless' book available?
Take care.
