Just wanted to mention the colorgoserver.com -A new site. It uses colors to show influence and I think may help new aspiring players. Also no download needed!

How does this service work? I didn't quite figure out what to do and how to analyze the received data.

You can set your board themes. The colored ones shows your stones influence. The more stones surrounding an area the more solid your color/theme. It is fun. And a good learning tool I think.

It is definitely worth a look. The influence shown is an interesting concept. And perhaps good as I said for new players in particular. I bet kids would appreciate also!
