What cracks me up more than the comic is that I can really picture some of my fellow classmates from college talking like this.

Another classic posted on a friends cubicle wall at work. ;)

The thing I really like about xkcd is the mouse overlay text that goes with each of the comics. Often times, that's the funniest part of the joke.

As an equipment tech, this Circuit Diagram was quite entertaining. I sent it to my supervisor and some engineers here at work, and asked them to build me one.

(Note for people too lazy to click: that's the "real programmers" version of the Four Yorkshiremen sketch.)

On Saturday we had a meeting of the Council of the British Go Association. To all intents and purposes, over lunch we had exactly that conversation. Honestly, no one listening would have worked out we were Go players, they'd just have thought we were computer folk.

Only the last panel, blast it, finished with a vi-trumping instead of an emacs-win, when someone smiled sweetly at me and pointed out that vi users don't get RSI, only emacs users who have to stretch for C- and M- keys. Hrumph.

I can't narrow down my favourite 10 comics. So far I've narrowed it down to my top 50 ...!

The funniest part for me is usually reading the alt text, like this one: Escalators
